Singapore
At
Sydney International Airport.
Serge all decked out in slacks, jacket and tie. We will find out that this
attire is a plus when dealing with people. Certainly the rooms we were given at
the Furama, in Singapore and the Brasile, in Rome, seem to have been affected by
the way we were dressed. Either that or we were extremely fortunate in our
arrival times.

Firemen
on motorcycles. There is no excuse now for not reaching your destination, even
if its down a narrow crowded alley way.
The
Civil Defence Museum is a firefighter
dream. It held all sorts of old fire engines, artifacts and details of the
infamous Singapore fire that caused much damage and loss of life due to poor
firefighting procedures. New regulations came about to make Singapore a vanguard
in fire safety.

Chinese Temple to the God of Calm Seas. We both lit incense and prayed a lot.
